Gig Blog
Hey.
I've decided to start a blog of all the gigs that I go to here in London that don't fall under the reviewable umbrella of fasterlouder.com.au.
I should have started this as soon as I got here, but I might occaisionally do revisits of great shows pre-blog.
Anyways: Sunday 14th, ETID, The Garage.
Not much time, so I've got to keep it short:
Fucking brilliant. Intense from the get go, didn't let up.
Great fucking showmen. Tight as a drum. huge guitar sounds, strangely enough both guitarists used jcm 800s. I would have expected rectos, but I guess people are moving away from rectos now since everyone who could afford them started using them in the past five years.
The certain members of the band looked a bit stockier than you would expect.
Never mind. They rocked.
Supports: 12 Tribes: Crap.
A Life Once Lost: Good but let down by the vocalist whose throat is showing the damage of constant touring and whose beard makes it look like a homeless man bum-rushed the stage and stole a mic.
That's all for now.
J
